BRIEF: Want an arcade game? A fake tree? Pieces of Mr. Biggs for sale

Apr 13, 2012 (The Gazette - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Mr. Biggs Family Fun Center is closing in a couple of weeks, but you can keep a piece of Biggs.

The family fun center, which closes April 29, is selling everything from arcade games to office furniture in what it's calling The Bigg Sale. Items are displayed by category at Mr. Biggs' website at http://www.mrbiggsffc.com/.

Arcade games make up the biggest category. But the "other" category makes for the most interesting viewing. Need an industrial water tank? Folding bleachers? An artificial tree? They're all there.

Some items, such as the office furniture, have a listed price. With the others, including the arcade games, offers are being accepted via email.

On May 19, any remaining items will be up for sale at an auction.

COMING SUNDAY IN THE GAZETTE: After seven years in business, Mr. Biggs is closing its doors to allow for expansion of Stellar Restaurant Solutions, which shares the building with Biggs. Mr. Biggs Family Fun Center came about when entrepreneur Steve Bigari and his partners pondered the question: What's the best use for this building? That same question led to the decision to close.
