transcosmos Signs Sales Agent Agreement with TubeMogul
Tokyo, Japan, Nov 21, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda; TSE First Section: 9715; hereafter, transcosmos) has signed an sales agent agreement with TubeMogul (Head Office: Emeryville, California; hereinafter, TubeMogul), a U.S. company which offers video advertising and will launch video advertising DSP sales on November 1.
transcosmos provides various DSP services to its clients, mainly with "deqwas DSP" and "transcosmos DSP". This time, transcosmos is to launch video advertising DSP sales offered by TubeMogul where advertisers manage and operate video advertisement.
*DSP (Demand-Side Platform) is a system where, unlike the traditional methods of purchasing the media advertising frame for a fixed price, advertisers instead bid according to the category of the audience interacting with the applicable media. With "audience targeting" where advertisers speculate, based on the behavioral data of the audience who take actions, their tastes and likes and "RTB (Real time Bidding)" where advertisers make bidding real time toward impressions of the display advertisement by instantly recognizing the "valuable impressions" and publishing them, to maximize the advertising effects.
Highlights of Video Marketing DSP Provided by TubeMogul Accommodates any format in various media and publishes on devices Optimizes costs with the real time bidding system to publish advertisement to the targeted viewers Reports by site, so as not to have the brand appear on inappropriate sites TubeMogul was founded in 2007. In 2010, it created its own video network and in 2011 developed a platform with video advertisement targeting based on RTB, optimization, regional publishing, and analysis capabilities. This platform is able to respond to various advertising formats, including in-stream video advertising, in-display units with click-to-play capabilities by the viewers, interstitial advertising within applications which could withstand heavy-duty use in Japan via Smartphones, tablets, and alike. At the time of video advertisement publications, as usual the appropriate sites and viewers to be researched are selected to clarify the targeting area. And in the background, TubeMogul's brand-safe suite operates, blocking inappropriate/irrelevant content pages and accidental views, protecting the values of the brands.
transcosmos will combine such technology/services owned by TubeMogul and digital marketing services to offer to the Japanese market. The video advertising market in Japan is rapidly expanding, and we are one of the pioneers to start video advertisement sales. We will collect information and reinforce our management system, which would lead to new advertising business.
Mr. Masao Karino, President and CEO of TubeMogul's Japanese subsidiary, has commented as the following: "We are pleased to form a partnership with transcosmos inc., known as a pioneer in online advertisement in Japan, and we would like to, by advising and providing online video campaign, strive for increasing our clients' brand recognition and likeability and contribute to their effort to reach their sales goals. In the current Japanese market, video marketing is not prevalent yet, but with transcosmos' support and cooperation, I am certain that together we will be able to create an opportunity for video campaigns to gain popularity and further contribute to development of the industry as a whole." transcosmos is a registered trade name or trademark of transcosmos inc. in Japan and other countries.
The listed company names and product/service names are each company's registered logos or trademarks.
