Alphinat Announces Its Results for the Fiscal Year Ended August 31, 2012

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Dec 27, 2012 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Alphinat Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NPA) announces its results for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2012.

During fiscal year 2012, Alphinat pursued its partnership strategy aimed at supporting and accelerating commercialization of SmartGuide, both for enterprise license sales and for SaaS-based services built using SmartGuide. The OEM agreement Alphinat signed with CSDC Systems Inc. (www.csdcsystems.com) and the Bull (www.bull.com) distribution agreement are a testament to the success of this strategy. Furthermore, Alphinat's commercialization efforts have resulted in the sale of SmartGuide licenses to two new Canadian provinces.

During fiscal 2011, Alphinat recognized revenue totalling $793,915 compared to $682,783 for 2011 and $1,255,514 for 2010. Net losses for fiscal 2012 totalled $787,783 compared to a net loss of $940,845 for fiscal 2011.
