e-MDs Partners With Alesco Medical to Meet Demand for e-MDs' Physician Developed EHR and Practice Management Solutions

AUSTIN, TX, Mar 14, 2013 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- e-MDs, a leading provider of electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management (PM) solutions, today announced the expansion of its value-added reseller (VAR) channel with the addition of Alesco Medical, a consulting firm that provides business and technology services to medical groups and clinics as a Channel Distributor.

Alesco Medical will further expand the market share and geographic footprint of e-MDs Solution Series EHR and PM nationwide.

Under the agreement, e-MDs will certify Alesco Medical staff for license sales, implementation, user training and day-to-day support and maintenance of its software. As a Distributor, Alesco Medical will provide centralized marketing, sales, operations, support and training to sales affiliates that are part of Alesco's VAR channel, dedicated to reselling e-MDs solutions to doctors automating their practice or replacing outdated EHRs to improve quality of care and qualify for EHR meaningful use payments from the federal government.
