Cyan Hires World Class Executives to Lead Key Teams Around the Globe

In lieu with its worldwide expansion strategy, SDN software provider Cyan recently welcomed four new executives into its family. All four appointees are experts in their respective fields, according to the company. 

Cyan’s Blue Planet SDN software and Z-Series multi-layer packet-optical transport platforms make up a vital part of the company’s solution portfolio. Deployed around the globe, these highly successful solutions are serving  some of the largest telecommunication companies. The company is seeking to further expand the sales and reach of its Blue Planet SDN system and Z-Series packet-optical transport platforms.

Key sales teams will now operate under the guidance of Paul Couturier, vice president and general manager of Europe, Middle East, and Africa; Mike Scheck, vice president of Latin America; Andy Wu, the vice president of North Asia and Japan and Chris Jacobson, vice president, Southeast Asia. With these dedicated sales teams operating in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, Cyan hopes to be able to meet worldwide demand for its solutions.

The worldwide field operations are led by John Halliwell, who will continue to lead Cyan's team of five regional theater heads. Halliwell brings over 20 years of experience in senior management roles at both public and private technology companies. His appointment was announced in March this year.
