PEG Bandwidth Licenses Verax Systems Corp's NMS/OSS/BSS

Verax Systems Corp. has signed a major agreement with PEG Bandwidth. Verax's IT & Telco Service Assurance components like Network Management platform, Operational Support Systems and Business Support Systems products will now be licensed by PEG Bandwidth as part of the contract.

A wide-ranging portfolio of incorporated applications for the complete lifecycle of IT & Telco services are offered by Verax Systems solutions. PEG Bandwidth will now be able to tackle the issues associated with a constantly changing telecommunications environment with the help of Verax solutions.

PEG Bandwidth will be able to administer the complete business lifecycle and infrastructure by implementing the IT Service Assurance components from Verax. Verax's SOA based application model will also offer PEG Bandwidth improved flexibility and scalability. PEG Bandwidth aims to constantly augment the quality of service across the infrastructure and also enhance the customer service and experience with the assistance of the implemented Verax systems.

In a statement, Christopher Pickard, CTO of PEG Bandwidth said, "We are very excited about moving forward with Verax Systems in order to deploy a fully integrated, robust and scalable OSS/BSS platform that positions PEG Bandwidth to take full advantage of market opportunities in a cost effective and robust fashion."

PEG Bandwidth is a well-known reliable source of backhaul proficiency for the wireless carriers' 3G, both HSPA and EVDO; and 4G, both LTE (News - Alert) and WiMax network build-outs. The organization, which was established in 2009, is based in Dallas, Texas. PEG Bandwidth has been successful in fulfilling the ever-rising requirements for wireless video and data. Fiber-based, custom designed backhaul networks have been developed by PEG Bandwidth across the central and northeastern United States. These backhaul networks have been serving a minimum of 2,000 cell site locations.
